With all the talk about adding WP Hooks and Filters into themes, Ian Stewart wrote an interesting piece about it, fully detailed and accompanied with examples. Naturally, you should go to the Codex first if you want to learn more about hooks and filters. But after that, Ian’s article is a good read especially if you’re really new about all this (like me).
